Tine Vestby's: Competence, work experience and education

I work as an electrician at Ovesen Elektriske AS in Bodø, Norway. I mainly work on new buildings that will be family homes. My education after my primary education is VG1 Elektrofag and VG2 Elenergi at Sentrum Videregående Skole in Kongsvinger, Norway. After this I started as an apprentice to be an electrician, at a firm called Elektro Bodø AS. In my time as an apprentice I were mostly situated at the hospital in Bodø, were they were renovating, and at the shopping center City Nord in Bodø doing expanding and building new shops.

I was finished with my time as an apprentice in 2012, and then got my certificate of apprenticeship in march 2012. I am now going to Teknisk Fagskole Elkraft on Hadsel Fagskole. It's a part-time study that I take beside my full-time job as an electrician, and I am now attending the second of three years of education.

I have attended some courses that is relevant for my job. I have course diplomas for using lifts, antifalling device, and fireproofing. I have also participated at in-company training in x-comfort, that is a product for smart-houses.

On a daily basis what I do is usually put pipes with cables and boxes into walls and ceilings in the houses, that will be used for the electrical equipment in the house. In addition to heatingcables, cablesplicing, fault localisation, and other small service jobs. When the carpenter and house painter have finished their job in the new houses, I mount electrical equipment such as sockets, switches, lamps and downlights. I also have to connect the cables for the electricity, both outside the house in the power company's fuse box, and in the fuse box inside the house.
